By Zoila Palma: The San Ignacio Police Formation continues their week of activities in observance of Police Week 2026, aimed at strengthening community engagement and promoting public safety. The events began with a church service and hamper drive and continues throughout the week with educational, community, and sporting activities.
The activities included a Police Crime Prevention Educational Program at San Antonio RC School and San Antonio United Pentecostal School on Tuesday, a community clean-up campaign at Bullet Tree Falls on Wednesday, and a police booth display happening at the Welcome Center now.
The week will conclude with a Sports Day at Marian Jones Stadium in Belize City on Friday, June 19.
Police Week serves as an opportunity for officers to connect with residents while highlighting the Belize Police Department’s commitment to service under the theme, “For the Love of Country, Our Belize.”
Residents are encouraged to participate in the activities and support efforts to build safer and stronger communities.
