Police arrest 33-year-old man for cocaine possession

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police have brought charges against a 33-year-old Orange Walk resident in connection with a small quantity of suspected cocaine.

Rudin Rudelly Omivia, a laborer of North San Martin, was formally arrested and charged on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, after an information and complaint were sworn. The charge relates to possession of controlled drugs, specifically 0.6 grams of suspected cocaine.

After being processed, Omivia was granted bail and is expected to return to court on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, where the matter will be heard before a magistrate.

The case remains pending before the court.
