By Breaking Belize News Staff: Two brothers, Rasheed Jamal Parham, 19, and Corey Javaun Parham, 22, are spending time in remand at the Belize Central Prison. They are accused of being members of the Peace in the Village Bloods Gang (PIV). Rasheed, a former customs worker, and Corey, a barber, were arraigned separately but faced the same charge on Monday.

During his arraignment, Rasheed asked about the penalty for pleading guilty and was informed that the offense could carry a maximum of 10 years in prison. He then pleaded not guilty, as did Corey. Both were remanded without bail until August 23, 2024.
