By Zoila Palma: Area Representative Jose Mai welcomed youths for the Orange Walk South Summer Camp being held at the Agriculture Station in Yo Creek.
The 2026 summer camp theme is “Plant today, Grow tomorrow.”
More than 100 youths from across 9 villages were welcomed this morning for the camp.
Mai explained the importance of agriculture and emphasized the 3 main points Food Security, employment and income generation.
During the 5-day camp, the youths will learn about livestock and crops while enjoying agriculture games.
Mai expressed gratitude to the Agriculture department for facilitating the camp.
