By Horace Palacio: Today’s forecast is no joke—Belize continues its streak of fair, warm, and mostly dry weather as April kicks off. Sunshine will dominate the skies with only a few scattered clouds and the possibility of an isolated shower, though most areas will stay dry.
Temperatures are expected to climb quickly, reaching a high of 95°F (35°C) inland, while the coast will feel slightly cooler at 87°F (31°C). Tonight, conditions remain mild and partly cloudy, with little to no rain in the forecast.
On the water, expect choppy seas with waves between 4-6 feet, thanks to easterly to southeasterly winds blowing at 10–20 knots. Boaters should exercise caution, especially during the peak wind hours in the afternoon.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, conditions will remain breezy, warm, and dry, making it a perfect day for outdoor adventures or some beach time—just don’t forget the sunscreen.
