Minor attacked and stabbed at shop in Belize City

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred just before 8am today.

Sixteen-year-old Clifford Thomas told police that he was at Li Shop on Curassow Street when a group of men approached and began to stone him.

One of the men then attacked him and stabbed him in the arm.

Police have since detained one person pending investigation.

Thomas was taken for medical treatment and is listed in a stable condition.
