By Zoila Palma: On November 2, 2026, the Ministry of Economic Transformation hosted a collaborative event with the Canada-CARICOM Expert Deployment Mechanism, alongside key partners from Gales Point Primary School ( Jason Altshaft), Cristo Rey Primary School ( Josue Teul), The Belize Social Investment Fund ( Dorian Avilez), and BELTRAIDE ( Monique Usher).
Remarks were made by Andrea Benavides, Natalie Morris, Karyll Aitcheson and Dr. Osmond Martinez on these initiatives.
In addition, the Ministry and partners reiterated the importance of international cooperation, community development, and strengthening opportunities for sustainable economic transformation across the country of Belize.
