Ministry of Agriculture hosts 2nd day of Annual General Meeting in Spanish Lookout

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Ministry of Agriculture is hosting the second day of its Annual General Meeting at the Heritage Building Conference Room in Spanish Lookout. 

The event gathers key development partners to present their highlights and share their agriculture-related plans of action, showcasing achievements, innovative projects, and outlining their contributions to the agriculture sector.

The day began with a recap of the first day’s proceedings, setting the stage for a series of presentations from various organizations. 

The morning session included presentations from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the National Food and Nutrition Security Commission, the Taiwan Technical Mission, and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) which will then be followed by other organizations and partners in development.

The day will conclude with a Question & Answer session, followed by Recognitions and Awards ceremony. 

The Ministry says that it remains committed to fostering collaboration and innovation within the agriculture sector, driving sustainable development for Belize.
