By Zoila Palma: Minister of Agriculture and Area Representative for Stann Creek West is urging villagers to remain on alert following reports of major flooding in Southern Belize.
“Villagers please stay on the alert. Mr. Augustine Cho, Julius father is across the river and need urgent help. He is 4 feet of water. Please someone please try to rescue him. He is in the vicinity across the river right behind my house. I am up in the north of the country. His number is 668 1279,” Ferguson said.
Ferguson urges anyone near to try and rescue Cho.
He also called on NEMO Stann Creek for their assistance.
“Also, the Mennonite community by Bowman needs urgent assistance,” Ferguson added.
