“And the Ministry of Education has, I think, has been very consistent, in his position that we have zero tolerance, you know, for any type of sexual abuse, you know, our education system, of any type. So, we take these matters very, very, very seriously. When they are brought to the attention of the ministry, we carry out a thorough investigation into these matters. We cooperate fully with the police authorities. So we take it very, very seriously. And, that is the case. In this particular matter,” Fonseca said.
Minister Fonseca says that the Ministry is engaged with Muffles College and is providing support to the school.
In addition, Fonseca said that separate from the legal process, the Ministry must ensure that students, teachers and the school environment is protected.
