Minister of Education and newly elected BNTU President discuss future collaboration

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On April 24, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Education, Culture, Science and Technology Francis Fonseca welcomed Nadia Caliz-Martin, newly elected President of the Belize National Teachers’ Union (BNTU), and the executive committee of the BNTU for cordial discussions at the Ministry’s North Front Street Office in Belize City.

Minister Fonseca congratulated President Caliz-Martin and expressed his desire to strengthen the collaboration between the Ministry and the BNTU.

“The Ministry and the BNTU share a similar objective which is to make education better for Belize,” the Ministry noted.
