By Zoila Palma: Mayor of Belize City Bernard Wagner was honored to participate in the commencement exercises of both Anglican Cathedral College (ACC) and Canaan Seventh-day Adventist High School, celebrating the accomplishments of Belize City’s newest graduates.
At ACC’s 44th Commencement Exercises, Mayor Wagner delivered the keynote address to the Class of 2026. The occasion was especially meaningful as he reflected on being a member of ACC’s first-ever graduating class, making his return to address graduates a true full-circle moment.
He also served as Guest Speaker at Canaan SDA High School’s 34th Graduation Ceremony, held under the theme “Walking by Faith – Graduating with a Purpose,” where he encouraged students to pursue their goals with confidence and a commitment to serving others.
“We extend c𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 the graduating classes of Anglican Cathedral College, Canaan SDA High School, and all 2026 graduates across Belize City! The future is yours to shape. Go forward with confidence and pride,” the Belize City Council said.
