By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Kontiki Neighborhood Committee is all set for its highly anticipated Christmas Extravaganza, promising a fun-filled day for all ages.
Kicking off on December 1st, the festivities will begin with a vibrant Tree Lighting Ceremony on Constellation Boulevard.
This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever before, with a full day of activities leading up to the grand lighting of the Christmas tree at 7:30 p.m.
The celebrations will begin at 11 a.m. with a Christmas Mini Fair, featuring live music, a variety of food and drinks, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
Local dignitaries, including San Ignacio/Santa Elena Mayor Earl Trapp and Cayo North Area Representative Michel Chebat, will address the crowd, sharing festive cheer and support for the event.
And, of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without the arrival of Santa Claus, who will make his grand entrance to the delight of children and adults alike.
