Jürgen Klopp has defended the comments made by Trent Alexander-Arnold to 442 in the runup to the game with Manchester City, where he said Liverpool’s ‘trophies will mean more’ because ‘of the situations at both clubs, financially.’ ‘He is born in Liverpool, he stood on the bins [outside Melwood to watch players train as a kid],’ Klopp said. ‘One of our slogans, that I love, is This Means More. It means more to us.’  Klopp also named Pep Guardiola as the ‘best manager in the world’ and reiterated his respect for the Manchester City manager ahead of what is potentially their final match facing one another.
