By Breaking Belize News Staff: Kenroy Sydney Cooke, a 50-year-old Kings Park resident, was fined $400 in Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for possession of drug paraphernalia. Cooke, known to the court, received the fine for possessing a crack pipe.

Cooke, who appeared unrepresented, was charged with possession of utensils used for smoking controlled drugs. He was given until April 30, 2025, to pay the fine, plus a $5 court cost, or face four months imprisonment.

The charge stemmed from a police search conducted at Cooke’s residence on February 12, 2025. Officers, acting on a search warrant related to a burglary investigation, discovered a plastic cylinder containing crack residue in Cooke’s room. Cooke was subsequently arrested and charged.
