‘Kingmir’ claims unanimous decision over Guatemalan challenger

By Aaron Humes: National lightweight champion Amir Rudon defeated Guatemalan challenger Juan “El Toro” Mendez in a junior welterweight bout. 

Rudon, known as “Kingmir,” was sharp over six rounds at Swift Hall, Belize City Saturday night, securing a unanimous decision on the scorecards.

Amir remains undefeated in seven fights to date.
