Japan sees 1.7% decline in clothing & textile imports in FY24

In FY24, Japan’s imports of clothing and accessories fell to 3,564,850 million yen, accounting for 3.3 per cent of total imports.
Following months of decline, a February surge indicated improved retail demand, though overall imports remained below the previous year’s levels.
