By Zoila Palma: During today’s budget presentation, Minister of Education Francis Fonseca said that 78,000 students and 4,500 teachers are set to be impacted by an expansion of the ConnectED programme.
Internet access will be expanded to 283 schools across Belize.
In addition, the Belize Education Upliftment Project continues to expand its transformative impact on the lives of students and their families at the secondary level.
Now, more than 60% of secondary school students will benefit from Free education.
