By Aaron Humes: On Tuesday, around 8:25 PM, information was received regarding a house fire on Green Street in the Belama Phase 4 area. Personnel from the Northside Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) responded to the scene, where they found a wooden house, approximately 20 by 24 feet, completely engulfed in flames.
Initial investigations revealed that residents in the area had noticed the house on fire and subsequently called the police and fire departments for assistance. Fire personnel arrived shortly thereafter and extinguished the fire. Although the house was destroyed, fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
It was reported that the house had been abandoned since 2024. Residents indicated that the property belongs to a man named Eric Glenn.
