By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect another hot Tuesday as relatively moist and somewhat unstable conditions continue across the country.
The National Meteorological Service says skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today, becoming partly cloudy tonight.
Showers or thunderstorms will generally remain isolated, although there is a medium chance of a few more developing over northern areas late this morning.
This afternoon, the greatest chance for additional showers and thunderstorms will shift mainly to inland areas and the Maya Mountains.
Temperatures will reach a high of 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills.
Winds will blow from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots, with seas ranging from a light chop to choppy and waves between two and four feet.
On Wednesday, skies will become cloudy at times, with showers or thunderstorms initially isolated before activity increases slightly over northern and central areas.
Conditions are expected to improve again late Wednesday evening or Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Fay and Tropical Storm Hanna are being monitored in the Atlantic.
Fay had maximum sustained winds of 40 mph early this morning, while Hanna had maximum sustained winds of 45 mph.
Neither tropical storm poses a threat to Belize.
