By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belizeans can expect another mostly sunny day today as fair weather conditions continue to dominate the forecast.
According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be sunny with some cloudy spells throughout the day and partly cloudy tonight. Shower activity will be generally isolated, though there is a medium chance of a few more showers or isolated thunderstorms developing over the extreme south later tonight.
Winds are expected to be light and variable, blowing from the east to northeast at 5 to 10 knots. Sea conditions remain slight with waves between 1 to 3 feet. Temperatures will peak near 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 89 on the coast, and 82 in the hills. Tonight’s temperatures are expected to fall to 73 inland, 82 along the coast, and 68 in the higher elevations.
The National Hurricane Center is not forecasting any tropical cyclone development over the North Atlantic Basin within the next 48 hours. Looking ahead to Sunday, mainly fair conditions are expected to continue with only isolated showers anticipated.
