By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A police officer is counting his blessings after a gunman opened fire on him last night.
The officer, who is attached to the Special Patrol Unit (SPU), was reportedly in his vehicle in Teakettle when he came under fire. According to reports, several shots were fired in his direction.
Fortunately, the officer managed to escape the ordeal unharmed.
At this time, there is no indication as to why the police officer was shot at and who did the shooting.
