By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On September 19, 2024, Minister’s of Government, dignitaries, students and the Price family came together for the 13th annual wreath-laying ceremony in honor of the Father of the Nation George Cadle Price.
The ceremony included tributes from various speakers, a performance by the Belize Defence Force Official Band, a blessing at the gravesite, and the ceremonial laying of wreaths to honour the Father of the Nation.
Around the country, schools, communities conducting acts of community service in memory of Price.
