By Breaking Belize News Staff: Four young women, including two 18-year-olds, were hauled before the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday after allegedly engaging in a public fight at the UNO Gas Station near the Bel-China Bridge last Thursday.
The accused were identified as 21-year-old Eileen Deannie Myvette, 18-year-old Cheyenne Yannie Pollard, 18-year-old Kelsey Elijio and 22-year-old Chestar Tyra Zandaisha Baptist, all residents of Belize City.
The women appeared before a Magistrate in Court #5, where they were jointly charged with disorderly conduct.
Police allege that on October 29, 2026, the four engaged in an unlawful fight in public view at the gas station near Youth for the Future Drive.
All four pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The women were initially escorted to court on Friday, October 30, but were subsequently released on police bail and instructed to return for their arraignment.
With no objection from the prosecution, the Magistrate offered each woman bail of $500 plus one surety of the same amount. All four were able to meet their bail conditions and were released.
They were warned that failure to attend their scheduled court appearances could result in their bail being revoked.
The four women are scheduled to return to court on December 28, 2026.
The circumstances that sparked the alleged confrontation remain unclear.
