By Aaron Humes: A fatal shooting claimed the life of a Belize City man just after midnight this morning.
On arrival at the corner of Johnson Street and Cemetery Road, responding police found a white Ford Fusion crashed in the drain with several gunshot damages. A further inspection of the vehicle revealed Floyd Mcfadzean seated on the driver’s side suffering from apparent gunshot injuries to the body, and dead.
Further information was received that three other gunshot victims were transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, namely Deon Gladden, Jaheim Bent and Troy Gentle. The men were coming from the direction of Central American Boulevard and upon reaching in front of 1st Choice Pharmacy, two unknown men onboard a motorcycle started to fire several shots towards the vehicle causing injuries to the said victims, during which the driver lost control of the vehicle and landed in the drain.
Deon Gladden has since been treated and released and Troy Gentle is listed in a stable condition. Bent is also hospitalized after being found by Police about 4 a.m. on Tigris Street.
Police investigations continue.
