Farmer’s house burned down in Petville

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating an alleged arson in northern Belize.

The ongoing investigation commenced on Tuesday, April 28, about 10:00 a.m., when a farmer of an Orange Walk address reported to police that between the hours of 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, and Tuesday, April 28, his 20 x 10 feet house located on a farm in Petville Village, Orange Walk District, was burned down.

The house was valued at $1,000, and the contents along with other items had a combined value of $10,370.
