By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can look forward to a day of sunshine, cool breezes, and zero rain as generally fair and mild weather conditions continue to dominate the region.
According to the National Meteorological Service, mostly sunny skies are expected throughout today, followed by clear to partly cloudy conditions tonight. Rainfall is unlikely, offering a welcome stretch of dry and stable weather for communities across the country.
Temperatures remain seasonally comfortable, with highs reaching 84°F (29°C) along the coast and 88°F (31°C) inland. Overnight lows will dip to 64°F (18°C) in the west and 60°F (16°C) in the hills, bringing a cool breeze perfect for restful sleep.
At sea, mariners should take note of choppy conditions, with winds from the north-northeast at 5 to 15 knots and waves between 3 to 5 feet. Small craft operators are advised to proceed with caution.
This stable pattern is expected to continue into Friday and Friday night, making it an excellent window for outdoor work, travel, and recreation.
