By Aaron Humes: Belizean national Ellis Meighan, who had been evading local police for several months, was returned this morning by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. On arrival at the Philip Goldson International Airport, he was handed over to Belizean law enforcement.
Meighan was wanted for multiple criminal charges and reportedly fled the country, but was arrested in the United States, where he remained in custody until his return flight to Belize.
Meighan is now in custody and is expected to face the outstanding charges against him.
