By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Dominican Republic’s Rudy Alexander Germoso surged to victory in the final meters of the 156-kilometer Caribbean Elite Men’s Road Race on Sunday afternoon, outpacing Belize’s Oscar Quiroz and Guadeloupe’s LE NY Benjamin Lanai in a dramatic sprint finish in front of MIRAB Furniture Gallery.

Quiroz’s second-place finish marks a proud moment for Belize and a personal achievement for the veteran rider, who previously placed third in the 2021 edition of the championship. His silver today reflects both tactical brilliance and years of consistent performance at the regional level.
