By Zoila Palma: Today, the Department of the Environment (DOE) under the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Climate Change signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Valley of Peace Village Council for the entrustment of a garbage disposal trailer.
The Department said that the trailer will support the community’s efforts to strengthen proper waste management practices and promote a healthier, cleaner environment for all residents.
The DOE says that it remains committed to fostering partnerships that advance effective solid waste management systems and sustainable communities across Belize
