Cycling Federation of Belize into full gear prior to 94th Annual Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cycling Federation of Belize is extremely busy at this point as it prepares the final details for the 94^th Annual Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic.

The CFB is holding several activities on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The first is the Presentation of the Teams at Digi Park. Slated to start at 3:00 pm the activity has seen a delay but the CFB is going through with it.

That will be followed by the Traditional Holy Thursday ride around Belize City announcing the race.

Then, the CFB is holding the “in person Technical Meeting at 6:00 p.m. for the Team Managers and individuals in preparation for the 94th Annual Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic.”

Other than that the CFB advised competing cyclists that they can pick up the timing chip and support vehicle sticker at the Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association ‘Ned Pitts Olympic House’ any time after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28. The CFB is also busy distributing race numbers to the cyclists.

The 94^th Annual Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic starts at 6:00 am on Holy Saturday at Digi Park, heads to San Ignacio, and then returns to Belize City to finish around noon.
