By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Cristo Rey Village Council is gearing up for its annual River Fest this Sunday, May 26, 2024.
The theme for this year’s fest is “Promoting river conservation, cultural values and local business.”
The activities will be held at the Cristo Rey riverside “El Playon.”
The canoe race commences at 7am.
The fishing competition also commences at 7am and goes through to noon.
All proceeds go to the rehabilitation of the community park.
