By Zoila Palma: In light of the recent murders of Special Constables Manuel Smith and Fidencia Osgalla, Cayo North Area Representative has scheduled a Community meeting with Minister of Home Affairs Oscar Mira and COMPOL Richard Rosado.
“The safety and well being of our community must always come first. I am inviting all residents to attend an important Community Meeting with the Commissioner of Police and the Minister of Home Affairs as we come together to discuss the recent concerns affecting our communities and the way forward,” Chebat said.
Chebat says that this is an opportunity for the community to raise concerns, ask questions, and be part of the conversation on strengthening public safety and restoring peace in our neighborhoods.
“Let us stand united as a community. Your voice matters. Together, we can build a safer future for our families and our children,” Chebat said.
