By Aaron Humes: Police have received reports of gunfire in Santa Elena Town, Cayo District this morning, Saturday.
One person had been shot according to preliminary information. Information was received by police of two males running into a yard, with one allegedly holding a firearm and shooting toward a house. The location was described as the first right after passing Hill View Gym, two lanes down at a purple cement house with a white car in front.
Police have not confirmed the incident, and no official statement has been released regarding injuries, arrests, or the status of the investigation.
