By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belize’s tourism sector has received a major boost, as the Belize Tourism Board (BTB), in partnership with BermudAir, announced the launch of new nonstop services connecting five key United States markets directly with Belize.

The new routes will link Boston, Massachusetts; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; and Tampa Bay, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando, Florida, with the Philip Goldson International Airport. The service is designed to strengthen the country’s air connectivity and expand travel options, opening the destination to millions of new travelers. Timed to launch during the peak winter travel season, the flights will make it easier than ever for visitors seeking warm weather, culture, adventure, and relaxation to experience Belize.

“These new nonstop routes from Boston, Raleigh-Durham, Tampa Bay, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando mark a significant milestone for Belize’s tourism sector, opening our destination to millions of travelers across three new major U.S. markets,” said Hon. Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism, Youth, Sports and Diaspora Relations. He added that whether visitors come to explore the barrier reef, discover ancient Maya temples, or simply unwind, these direct connections ensure their journey begins with ease.

Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir, said the airline was thrilled to expand its network to Belize as the premium leisure carrier from North America. He noted that BermudAir’s customers have been ranking the airline with industry-leading satisfaction scores, and that together with Bermuda, they now connect US travelers to some of the region’s most sought-after destinations.

Most of the new routes will commence between December 18 and 21, 2026, with the exception of the Fort Lauderdale service, which begins earlier on October 26. The flights will operate aboard BermudAir’s Embraer E190 aircraft. Travelers will also be able to connect to BermudAir’s nonstop service between Belize City and Guatemala City, which begins on December 19 and operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The addition of these routes reflects continued confidence in Belize as a growing tourism destination and further enhances accessibility from the United States. Travelers can begin booking flights at flybermudair.com.
