Belizean artist Shalliney Oliva to audition for America’s Got Talent!

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Santa Elena’s rising star, Shalliney Oliva is proudly representing her family, town and school demonstrating her talent and performing at important events across the country.

Shalliney is a 14-year-old honor roll student from Saint Ignatius High School in Santa Elena.

Her fantastic artistic talent has landed her a virtual audition for the prestigious America’s Got Talent show.

Shalliney’s dad, Luis Oliva told BBN that he applied for his daughter to audition and submitted 2 videos for the producers to review.

Following their submission, America’s Got Talent invited Shalliney to an in-person audition on February 4. However, she wouldn’t be able to make it due to time constraints.

Luis then applied for the virtual audition and she was accepted to audition on February 24, 2024.

Shalliney will proudly represent Santa Elena Town, Cayo District and her country Belize on the show.

“Hoping that she does well and moves on to the live television show. She is super excited and confident that she will do exceptionally well,” Oliva said.

Artists from around the globe are auditioning for the renowned show America’s Got Talent.

Belizeans from across the country are cheering on Shalliney as she proudly represents the jewel.
