Belize Weather Update: Fair skies and isolated showers expected

By Horace Palacio: The National Meteorological Service of Belize has issued a forecast for generally fair weather conditions throughout the country today. Residents can expect sunny skies with some cloudy periods and a low chance of isolated showers.

Temperatures will remain warm along the coast, with highs around 83°F (28°C) and lows of 79°F (26°C). Inland areas will be slightly hotter, with highs near 90°F (32°C) and lows around 72°F (22°C). Hilly regions will experience cooler temperatures with highs of 79°F (26°C) and lows of 66°F (19°C).

Mariners can anticipate moderate sea conditions with waves of 4 to 6 feet and winds from the north-northeast at 10 to 20 knots.

This fair weather pattern is expected to continue through Saturday and Saturday night, with little to no rainfall predicted.

The National Meteorological Service encourages the public to stay hydrated and take precautions against the heat, especially those working outdoors.
