By Breaking Belize News Staff: Seasonably warm and mostly dry conditions prevail as according to the National Meteorological Service,skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight partly cloudy with little or no rain expected.
High temperatures peak at 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 97 degrees Fahrenheit in inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 76 degrees in inland areas and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots and seas moderate. A heat alert is in effect as temperatures inland are expected to reach or exceed 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible, especially during the afternoon hours.
Tides are low as of 8:52 this morning. A high tide comes at 2:59 this afternoon and a low tide at 10:46 tonight. The sun rose at 5:22 this morning and sets at 6:15 this evening.
Expect similar weather conditions for Sunday and Sunday night.
