By Breaking Belize News Staff: A cold front is projected to cross Belize today according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies will be cloudy in spells with isolated showers, periods of light rain and a chance of isolated thunderstorms, increasing tonight especially along the coast.
High temperatures peak at 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees in inland areas and 72 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight fall to 72 degrees along the coast, 64 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 15 knots and sea state is light chop.
Tides are low as of 5:31 this morning. A high tide occurs at 11:35 this morning followed by a low tide at 4:26 this afternoon and a high tide at 10:36 tonight.
The sun sets at 5:27 this evening and rises at 6:21 Friday morning.
Friday will see a few showers and periods of light rain, mainly along the coast.
