By Zoila Palma: The Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE) participated in the 2nd International Participants Meeting for Expo 2027 Belgrade, held in Belgrade from March 10-12, 2026.
BELTRAIDE’s Marketing & Communications Manager and Expo Deputy Section Commissioner, Nikki Augustine was joined by Eluide Miller, representative from the National Institute of Culture and History, reflecting a collaborative national approach to Belize’s engagement in this prestigious global event.
Countries and stakeholders discussed critical elements of Expo 2027, including master plan development, programme creation and co-creation, marketing and media strategy, visitor engagement, and commercial opportunities.
These sessions provided valuable insights to guide Belize’s preparations and ensure a strong and cohesive national presence.
“Belize’s participation underscores its commitment to strategically positioning the country on the global stage by showcasing our unique cultural heritage, tourism attractions, investment opportunities, and innovation potential. Through the collaborative efforts of BELTRAIDE, Belize Tourism Board and National Institute of Culture and History, Belize will deliver an immersive and authentic pavilion experience that reflects the essence of Belize and aligns with the country’s broader branding and economic development goals,” BELTRAIDE said.
Expo 2027 Belgrade will serve as a powerful platform for Belize to strengthen international partnerships, attract investment, and share its story with a global audience.
