The BDF also marked a historic moment as Warrant Officer Class 1 Dee-Ancor Reyes became the first woman to serve as Force Sergeant Major, taking over from Warrant Officer Class 1 Wilfredo Majano.
Now holding the highest rank attainable by an enlisted soldier without becoming commissioned, FSM Reyes steps into the vital role of advising the BDF Commander on discipline and the well-being of every soldier.
