By Aaron Humes: A Belize City man caught riding his bicycle without a bell has pleaded guilty.
36-year-old Justin Goff of Marigold Lane, Belize City was fined 25 dollars and cost of court due by September 15, otherwise he will go to jail for a week.
Police say that on Friday, August 30 on Freetown Road, Bell rode a 26-inch brown and yellow female Beach cruiser bicycle on the said road without a bell capable of giving audible and sufficient warning of its approached position.
Goff told the sitting Magistrate that he never knew of the broadcast by the police about riding with a bell.
