By Zoila Palma: Today, the Belize City Council announced with appreciation and best wishes, that City Administrator Albert Vaughan will be departing the Belize City administration effective October 31, 2025.
“While he departs for personal reasons, his tenure has been marked by dedication and professionalism, strengthening Council operations and advancing key initiatives for the benefit of Belize City residents,” the Belize City Council noted.
Mayor Bernard Wagner and the Belize City Council extended gratitude to Vaughan for his service and contributions, and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
“As the Council prepares for this transition, we also inform the public that the position of City Administrator will be advertised in the coming days, inviting qualified individuals to submit applications,” the council added.
The Belize City Council says that it remains focused on its mission of serving the people of Belize City with enthusiasm, transparency and efficiency, and we look forward to building on the foundation of progress we have set together.
