By Zoila Palma: Leader of the Opposition Tracy Panton says that as the UDP celebrates its 53rd anniversary, the party welcomes everyone and their diverse ideas.
“There is room under our tent for everyone who genuinely wishes to contribute to the further strengthening and development of this important institution. Different views should always be heard and debated with respect. As the Party Leader my commitment to our stakeholders and supporters remain unchanged: your contribution; your participation, your ideas are welcome and will be wholly embraced. There is a space under the tent for ALL of Us,” Panton said.
Panton reflects on the strengths of the UDP.
“Let us speak with one another, even when we share differing perspectives. This is how our democratic values work best. Let us respect the institution that gives us the opportunity and platform to serve our beloved Belize. Let us remember that the strength of our Party will be measured by what we consistently do: how we include people, uphold our principles and values, develop sound policies, agitate for actionable reforms that put the needs of Belizeans first,” she added.
Panton says that “There is Power in remaining united in Purpose and working together.”
