By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belize is celebrating a strong showing at the Caribbean Junior Cycling Championships this weekend.
Ahmaad Cherrington, Devin Major, Keith Enwright Jr. and Irene Baki all reached the podium, putting Belize among the region’s best in junior cycling.
The Belizean contingent went up against riders from across the Caribbean, and came home with results that speak for themselves.
Credit also goes to every young rider who made the trip, trained for it, and represented the country with pride. Getting to a regional championship takes months of early mornings and long road miles, and every one of them put in that work.
Cycling remains one of the sports where Belize consistently punches above its weight, and this generation is carrying that forward.
Congratulations, Team Belize. The future of Belizean cycling is looking bright.
