By Zoila Palma: The community of Machakilha in Southern Belize is expressing gratitude to the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) and Minister Osmond Martinez for their assistance following the flooding over the weekend.
“On behalf of the people of Machakilha village, I sincerely thank Hon. Osmond Martinez for visiting Machakilha to see our flood situation firsthand and for providing food assistance to all affected families. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to NEMO for their prompt response, for their generous support with food and essential household items during this difficult time,” Arnaldo Putul said.
Putul also expressed gratitude to all those who have been praying and helping the community.
