By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can look forward to another bright, warm day, as mainly fair weather conditions continue across the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be mostly sunny today and clear to partly cloudy tonight. Any showers will be isolated, keeping the rain largely out of the picture.
Temperatures along the coast will reach a high of 89 degrees Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) and a low of 82 (28 Celsius). Inland areas will be hot, climbing to 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 Celsius) and dropping to 75 (24 Celsius). In the hills, expect a high of 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 Celsius) and a cooler low of 68 (20 Celsius).
At sea, winds will blow from the east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots, with light chop and waves of 2 to 4 feet.
On the tropical front, there is good news. No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Saturday and Saturday night, similar weather conditions are expected to prevail.
Today’s high tide is at 11:40 AM, with a low tide at 7:00 PM, followed by a high tide at 1:06 AM tomorrow and a low at 6:23 AM. The sun sets this evening at 6:31 PM and rises tomorrow at 5:22 AM. The forecast was issued by forecaster Tareek Matthews.
