By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The Office of the Prime Minister has officially launched the Third National MSME Roadshow, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to supporting the growth, competitiveness, and resilience of Belize’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

The launch ceremony was held at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel, bringing together government officials, business leaders, development partners, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders from across the country to mark the start of the nationwide initiative.

Delivering the keynote address, Mrs. Narda Garcia, Chief Executive Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister, Investment and Civil Aviation, highlighted the critical role MSMEs play in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and strengthening communities. She reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to creating opportunities for entrepreneurs through greater access to financing, business support services, market opportunities, and policies that foster a more enabling business environment.

In a nod to the changing times, the launch also featured a panel discussion on collaborating with AI technology in business development, exploring how emerging technologies can help Belizean businesses improve efficiency, reach new markets, and stay competitive in an increasingly digital economy.

Now in its third edition, the National MSME Roadshow has become one of Belize’s premier business development initiatives. Since it began in 2022, the Roadshow has engaged more than 2,000 entrepreneurs across the country, connecting them with the information, resources, and support needed to start, formalize, grow, and scale their businesses.

This year, the Roadshow will make ten stops across all municipalities, including San Pedro and Caye Caulker, ensuring entrepreneurs throughout Belize have direct access to government services, business resources, financing opportunities, and market connections.

Entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, students, and members of the public are encouraged to take part when the Roadshow visits their municipality. Whether you are starting a business, growing an existing one, seeking financing, or exploring new markets, it offers valuable resources, expert guidance, and connections to help take your business to the next level.
