In partnership with Scotia Bank Jamaica, the National Gallery of Jamaica (NGJ) presents “Of Wood and Water: The Scotiabank Collection,” which opens on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 1:30pm, at the NGJ, located at 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston, Jamaica. The selection of artists includes Alexander Cooper, Gloria Escoffery (work shown above), Laura Facey, Albert Huie, Amy Laskin, Ken Abendana Spencer, Heather Sutherland Wade, and Barrington Watson. Description: Featuring over 40 works from Scotiabank’s corporate collection – complemented by works from the NGJ permanent collection – “Of Wood and Water” reflects on our island Jamaica as place shaped by time and restless forces.
