By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belize is expected to experience moist and somewhat unstable weather conditions today, bringing the possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms across several parts of the country.
According to the latest forecast issued this morning, sunny skies and cloudy spells are expected during the day, with isolated showers or thunderstorms developing as temperatures rise. Conditions are forecast to become mostly cloudy tonight with periods of rain and thunderstorms, especially along southern and coastal areas.
Forecasters say inland temperatures could climb as high as 96 degrees Fahrenheit, while coastal temperatures are expected to reach around 89 degrees. Hillside regions are forecast to remain cooler.
Marine conditions are expected to remain moderate with easterly to southeasterly winds blowing between 10 and 20 knots and waves reaching between 4 and 6 feet.
The outlook for Tuesday calls for continued cloudy spells with isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly affecting inland areas during the afternoon and southern Belize during the night.
